“Embrace Change,” Chapter 58 of 71 Solutions, really showed me how much I and the world around me have changed over time. Change is inevitable and the best way to handle it is to embrace it and see how it can be used for the greater good.
Take some time to think about the changes in your life. What’s one of the changes you’ve had in your life that was hard for you to embrace and why?
That's a beautiful transformation, Donna!
It makes me happy to hear the determination you had that got you to where you are today.
Did you make your own affirmation cards?
Way, way back, I was very ill with a so-called "permeant" "incurable" illness. Over the years, I have totally changed myself around. The hardest part? Attitude and eating habits were the two hardest. I had to rebuild my thinking. Thousands of affirmation cards later, I think I'm catching on. :-) At the very least, I am well, happy, and doing what I love with whom I love.
I’ll start: the biggest change for me was changing the way I communicated. I was at a point in my life where I didn’t even realize how terrible my communication was. I always seemed to know how terrible other’s around me were but I could never admit that I was the problem. The reason why was because I was in my head and I did not want to take the credit for my faults.
Once I realized I was part of the problem , I knew I needed to do my part. I didn’t want anyone to be able to say I was a terrible communicator. So from that moment forward I started working on my communicating skills.
